Future  Directions

TxDOT is currently studying a proposed U.S. 380 Bypass between CR 560 and CR 699. The  8.5 mile-bypass would be located south of Farmersville and would be designed to ease congestion, increase safety, and prepare for future traffic demands of projected population growth for the region.

Farmersville commercial rail needs are served by Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), the transnational railway system linking Mexico, Texas, and the U.S. Southeast.
