Collin College Farmersville Campus

The 76-acre Collin College campus in Farmersville provides post-secondary education for approximately 1,250 students throughout Farmersville and eastern Collin County area. The 52,000-square-foot campus is located at Audie Murphy Parkway (U.S. 380) and S. Collin Parkway (County Road 611).

The Farmersville campus offers associate degrees and enrollment in non-credit, continuing education courses that help students advance their knowledge and job skills. There are 70 industry-recognized certification training courses and certificate series taught by industry experts, including the training needed to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Associate Programs

Collin College in Farmersville provides courses for students who wish to work toward:

  • Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degrees

  • Associate of Applied Science Degrees

  • Business Management

  • Computer/IT

  • Medical Assisting Advanced Practice

  • Urban Sustainable Agriculture

  • Associate of Arts in Teaching-related courses

Collin College’s Technical Campus

The Technical Campus provides more than 20 programs in fields that include automotive, construction, healthcare, IT, and manufacturing, as well as offering academic transfer, dual-credit, continuing education and corporate training. 

Bachelor's Degrees

Collin College students can earn their bachelor’s degrees from Texas State University and the University of Texas at Dallas through the school’s Academic Alliance program. The college is also home to the Texas A&M Engineering Academy for Collin College students.  

Satellite Campuses

Collin College satellite campuses can also be found in Allen, Celina, Frisco, McKinney, Plano and Wylie, as well as its virtual campus.

Our Schools

With an attendance area covering almost 90 square miles, Farmersville ISD is made up of Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-12. The schools include:

  • Tatum Elementary

  • Farmersville Intermediate

  • Farmersville Junior High

  • Farmersville High School

It is the goal of Farmersville ISD is to remain proactive and anticipate future enrollment increases. It is estimated that the Farmersville ISD student population will increase from 2,260 to 3,611 by the 2027-2028 school year. In preparation, voters approved a $98 million-bond package in 2024 that includes plans for a new elementary school among other improvements.

FISD Engineering Academy

The prestigious FISD Engineering Academy offers students a rigorous, hands-on education in engineering and design. Through a structured pathway, students engage in real-world problem-solving, applying the engineering design process to develop innovative solutions. The curriculum covers essential industry skills, including CAD, 3D printing, milling, and material processing, while also emphasizing precision, efficiency, and workplace organization. Graduates leave the program well-prepared for STEM careers, higher education, or military service, making the academy an exceptional launchpad for future engineers and innovators.

Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Farmersville High School prepares its students for college or toward a future career with its CTE program, featuring a diversity of career clusters. These courses can lead to graduation endorsements in fields such as:

  • Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources

  • Business, Marketing, and Finance

  • Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

  • Health Science

Farmersville ISD also partners with Collin College in offering dual credit courses for all eligible FISD students, allowing them to earn both high school and college credit for the same courses.   

P-Tech Program

Farmersville ISD's Engineering program of study focuses on the design, development, and use of engines, machines, and structures. Students enrolled in Farmersville ISD's P-TECH program have the opportunity to earn a Level 1 Certificate and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Collin College.Â
