Business Development Grant

Realizing A New Vision

The Farmersville Economic Development Corporation is committed to helping companies realize a new vision for their place of business while also beautifying our city. To achieve this goal, we have established a Business Development Grant program. The purpose of this 50% matching grant is to encourage building and business owners to upgrade the exteriors of buildings and façades, improve the physical structure of buildings, and simultaneously enhance the aesthetics these buildings add to our community. 

Grant Award

Grant amounts begin at $2,500 and go up to a maximum of $25,000, with a required equal match from the property owner. Recipients of FEDC business development grants are not required to pay back the matching funds. The application process is simple, and we can walk you through the entire process. If approved, the project is funded on a reimbursement basis at the completion of the project 

Eligibility

Any existing businesses located in the City of Farmersville are eligible for this program. This includes startup businesses requiring construction prior to official opening dates, provided that the business provides ownership of the subject business or businesses. Projects involving plumbing and leveling of foundations are not eligible.
